The players’ determination in attaining success combined with the elegance of the sport itself, influenced models and distinguished collections. Now, the new G. Slam under the Lotto Leggenda heading, sums up all of this by reinterpreting a historic model, the Futura, worn in the ’90s by one of Lotto’s greatest all-time champions: Boris Becker.
The name G. Slam nods clearly to the aspirations of all professional players: to win the four tournaments of the Grand Slam circuit played on different surfaces, which the G. Slam shoe originally depicts with the “dirt” effect on the upper, as if the shoe were used on all the surfaces. Available in two colours: “snow white/bossa nova red” for the clay at Roland Garros, and classic “snow white” for the hard courts of the Australian and US Open.
The soft leather upper with side in TPU ‘rods’ has a gritty and sporty design, while the gold “G. Slam” printing on the heel underlines its inspiration. For the first time, the original Lotto Leggenda font is inserted, highlighted on the tongue.
